I don’t know about you, but I have been watching, reading, and listening to a lot of information about the candidates who hope to be elected as our next president. Have you ever thought about what you would do if you were the president of the United States? Topic:

If you were president of the United States, what one thing would you do to better our country and why?

Categories:

  • 1st-3rd grade
  • 4th-5th grade
  • 6th-8th grade
  • 9th-12th grade

Prizes for each category:

  • 1st place: laptop computer
  • 2nd place: TBA
  • 3rd place: TBA

Deadline is July 2, 2016

Winners announced on August 7th, and winning essays will be printed.

All entries must include:

  • name of student
  • grade completed prior to summer vacation
  • school
  • teacher’s name
  • student’s home address and phone number

Essays may be hand written or typed.

1,000 word maximum
